Feb. 11th, 2019 10:53 pmmy son has a horrible cold right now, and he keeps coughing himself awake, crying about it, snuggling me for like thirty seconds when I go in to get him, then pointing at his crib and sobbing, so i set him down, he falls asleep, and like twenty minutes later he does it all over again.
seriously considering just crawling into the crib with him at this point. we both might get more rest that way

Date: 2019-02-12 07:11 pm (UTC)Yeah, Rowan's the same--he ends up sleeping in a sticky puddle of snot-drool, which is of course uncomfortable and gross, and I end up having to change sodden sheets in the middle of the night, and it just sucks for him a lot.
I got the humidifier from the hallway and put it next to his crib, and it helped a little, but he's still a miserable little dude

Date: 2019-02-13 05:07 am (UTC)Humidifiers are vital. I'd always heard that babies needed them and I didn't understand why until I had one and saw just how small their noses are.
I hope Rowan feels better very soon!

Date: 2019-02-13 02:16 pm (UTC)He seems to be doing better this morning (of course, now the cold just hit me like a ton of bricks, but at least I know how to blow my own nose, lol)
