hey, don't know if you're getting these comments but...i loved this fic. there's precious little out there in this fandom, so to light on a real gem is fantastic. you have a deft touch. from the film, you can get a bead on jerry's situation at home, but to have it fleshed out so beautifully was really satisfying.
Knowing Jerry, it's completely possible that he's trying to start drama i liked this line, because it gives a neat summation of how Jerry's not always sweetness and light. he's screwed up, but he can screw back.

It's always been easy to push his buttons. this line is awesome. because in the film, Jerry's the hero, we get the skewed idea of him as being heroic. this line reminds us that Jerry's painfully human, a fact only his brother really gets. and that actually Ethan's a hero too.
